Our cruises depart from our base in Castlefield, Manchester City Centre on the historic 250 year old Bridgewater Canal, from here we sail to Pomona Lock, giving access to the famous Manchester Ship Canal. Next we cruise upstream onto The River Irwell back towards the city centre as far as New Bailey Street, Spinningfields and the People’s Museum. Turning here we then sail back down The River Irwell onto the Manchester Ship Canal heading to Salford Quays. Here we get views of the spectacular waterside developments including Media City UK, The Lowry, Manchester United Football Stadium and The Imperial War Museum North, before returning via Pomona Lock to Castlefield 3 hours later.
Our boats are available for private charter and rates start at £450.00 for a 3 hour cruise for parties of up to 60* people. Food, freshly prepared in our onboard kitchens may also be catered for an additional cost depending on the menu choice. Click here

We offer private charter luncheon cruises at a fully inclusive price which are available from Monday to Friday for groups of 25 or more. There are two choices of these cruises:
Lowry One Way 2 Course Luncheon Cruise. (2¼ hours) Departing from Castlefield on The Bridgewater Canal, this cruise includes a 2 course lunch, either a starter and main course or main course and dessert as the boat sails via Pomona Lock onto The Manchester Ship canal to The Lowry. Here you can spend the rest of the day exploring Salford Quays, including The Lowry and The Imperial War Museum North (which have free admission) before making your own arrangements for return travel. Available Monday to Friday. Departs 12:00 Requiries a minimum group booking of 25 people. Lowry Explorer 3 Course Luncheon Cruise (4 hours) Once again, departing from Castlefield, you cruise to The Lowry whilst enjoying lunch which is freshly prepared and served on board. On this cruise we only serve your starter and main course on the outward journey before you leave the boat to explore The Quays for just over an hour. Then on the return journey you will now have room for dessert and tea or coffee as we cruise back through Pomona Lock to Castlefield. Available Monday to Friday.
