 A fantastic package!
Hi, I am emailing to thank you for the wonderful evening we had on Friday 12th December. The food was wonderful, staff helpful and a very entertaining hostess, all in all a fantastic package! I know it's very early but we wish to book the cruise again for our Christmas night out this year and therefore, we would like to provisionally book the evening of Saturday 12th December 2009.

Absolutely first class

A great success

Friendly and courteous
We had a very nice trip on the L S Lowry barge yesterday, from Castlefield to the War Museum. We were a party of six persons. The meal was excellent and the staff were very friendly and courteous. The boat was very clean and tidy and had a very warm welcoming atmophere. Looking forward to the next trip. Thank you for a lovely day!

A terrific experience

One to remember
I'm just writing to let you know how much we appreciated the trip, meal and cake that you provided last saturday night. A very pleaseant outing

Fantastic trip
I booked the boat for our GP practice Christmas Party. We always have our party in January. I can only say it was the very best party we have ever had. The food, staff and ambience were outstanding. The sights of Manchester from the boat were fantastic. Thank you to all the staff, you made us feel very welcome and really looked after us. The Chef must really be congratulated on the quality of the food - it was second to none.!!! We will be back!!

Repeat experience
Cruising for 3 hours on the Bridgewater Canal and River Irwell on board the LS Lowry is a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday. Add to that add a 3 course Sunday lunch which is of an excellent quality followed by coffee and drinks makes the experience even more enjoyable, so much so that I have repeated experience on several occasions (the apricot tart was superb). A day 2 remember 4eva
I would like to thank you all for the lovely day my partner and I had on board The Lowry...it was better than i thought it would be, the food was so nice and very hot which surprised me because you don't think it would be coming from a boat kitchen (sorry Eamon) but came very neat and tidy on your plate very well presented which pleased me. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I will be going on the LS Lowry whenever I can because Eamon and his staff make you so welcome, you will want to return and you will tell all your pals just like I have, for along time to come .....thanx Eamon and your great crew....well done to you all.

A more relaxed pace of life
Dinner aboard the L.S.Lowry is an experience I am not likely to forget. When I booked the boat for my 40th birthday I was concerned about the quality of food that could be prepared on such a boat. How wrong I was! The mushroom salad starter was simple but oh so effective with every ingredient bursting with freshness and flavour. The main course of poached chicken breast in white wine with asparagus was simply delightful, and everyone on board raved about for weeks afterwards. The dessert I had (there was a choice of fresh fruit salad or profitiroles) the profitiroles was fantastic. In all the cruise through Manchester was very enlightning seeing the city through new eyes. The food, the service and the whole experience is something I would recommend to anyone.
