This cruise departs from Castlefield, on the historic 250 year old Bridgewater Canal. From here we sail to Pomona Lock, giving access to the famous Manchester Ship Canal. Next we cruise upstream onto The River Irwell back towards the city centre, before turning and sailing back downstream onto The Manchester Ship Canal, heading to Salford Quays. Here we get views of the spectacular waterside developments including Media City UK, The Lowry, Manchester United Football Stadium and The Imperial War Museum North, before returning via Pomona Lock to Castlefield 3 hours later.During the cruise we serve a set 3 course lunch which is freshly prepared and cooked in our on-board galley.

OTHER QUESTIONS? Toilets - We have 2 toilets onboard. 1 female and 1 male. Heating - Full central heating, with radiators throughout the cabin. Seating - Tables are allocated by the Groupon restaurant online booking system. All tables have good views out of the many windows. As stated on the Groupon website: Please note that If booking for just two people, you may have to share a table with up to 4 other guests. Children - This cruise is not suitable for children. We do not have room for pushchairs in the cabins. Smoking - Not permitted on these cruises in any part of our vessels. Access - There are 4 steps up and then 4 steps down into to main cabin. Our friendly crew will always be available to assist. Sorry but wheelchairs cannot be accomodated.
